Covid-19 Update

To our patients,

As healthcare professionals, the health and well-being of our patients, staff, and their families has always and will always be our top priority. We are experiencing an unprecedented chain of events in our country, and difficult decisions are being placed before us.

After closely following recommendations from the Ohio State Dental Board and Governor Dewine, we have come to the difficult conclusion that we must temporarily close our office beginning today, March 17, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With our profession falling into the highest risk category for infection and transmission, we feel this is the safest measure to take to protect our patients, our staff, and our community. Our goal is to reopen April 6, but as you know, this event is an ever-changing landscape. We promise to keep you, our valued patients, informed of any changes via these messages, as well as by phone.

We want to assure you that we are here for you and do not want you to feel abandoned. Please call us at 330-492-1500. The doctors will be checking voicemail regularly and will be on-hand in limited capacity to address DENTAL EMERGENCIES ONLY. These conditions include:

*Severe Toothache (thumping or throbbing that prevents sleep and/or daily functioning)
*Swelling of gums, face, or neck
*Bleeding in the mouth that does not stop
*Trauma (such as broken teeth due to injury)

We will be contacting all scheduled patients in the upcoming days to cancel their appointments. We will then contact you at a future date to reschedule once we re-open.

From our entire team, we want to thank you for your patience and understanding during this stressful and unpredictable time. It is always our honor and privilege to serve your dental needs, and we look forward to seeing you all soon. Please stay safe, take care of your families, and don’t forget to brush your teeth!

Best Wishes,

Drs. David Pavlick and Kaitlin Johnston
