Covid-19 Update

To our trusted patients,

We, at Pavlick Dental, are pleased to announce that we will be reopening on Monday, May 11.  As each one of our patients has experienced, the COVID-19 pandemic has placed tremendous strain on our families, businesses, healthcare system and society in general.  However, due to the citizens of Ohio and Stark County, we have been able to “flatten the curve” of the disease to the point where reopening can be accomplished in a safe manner.

The Pavlick Dental team is committed to the health and safety of our patients, staff, and doctors.  As such, we are preparing the office to exceed the infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S.  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

In addition to our usual stringent infection control protocols, we are intensifying our controls with the addition of glass barriers at the front desk, rigid patient screening, social distancing requirements, and ultraviolet room sanitation.  Our pretreatment patient screenings will include covid 19 related screening questions as well as obtaining patient temperatures.  In a like manner, we will administer the same to our doctors and staff on a daily basis. We will ask patients to use their vehicles as the waiting room, if possible, and that anyone entering the office be wearing a face covering or mask. Doctors and staff will wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), and appointments will be staggered to allow for continual room disinfection and instrument sterilization.

We appreciate your patience and understand during this unprecedented time and look forward to serving your dental needs once again. Please call us at 330-492-1500 with any questions or concerns. We will be reaching out to those patients who had appointments cancelled due to our mandated closing.

Best Wishes,

Drs. David Pavlick and Kaitlin Johnston
